City celebrates NAIDOC Week 2023

The City of Perth is celebrating and embracing the oldest living culture on Earth through a myriad of events as part of NAIDOC Week from 3-10 June. NAIDOC Week theme for 2023 is Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up! The call to action aims to amplify Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices and narrow the gap between aspiration and reality, good intent and outcome.’The City is proud to host a wide range of immersive experiences, music, dance, culture and art throughout June, celebrating and embracing the oldest living culture on Earth,’ City of Perth Lord Mayor Basil Zempilas said.
